I wonder...

I wonder...

So many questions racing through my mind. Is it true? Or is it not? Easter break's over and classes are resuming again but that's not the issue here... How long more do I have to wait to know? If it really is true? If it is indeed true, I know what I shall do, or rather, say. But if it's not, well, I'll be kept in suspense, won't I? That is, till there comes a time when I know it's not true. Or maybe, I just won't know.

And I continue to wonder...

Good Friday

So Easter break has dawned upon us. But is it just about the Easter bunny and heaps of Easter egg chocs? Or maybe it's about welcoming spring (though it's the other way round down under - it's autumn, lol) and a season of fertility?

Or has Good Friday lost its meaning?

It is the day our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, only to be resurrected 3 days later. It is the day that marked our salvation, our freedom from the sins that chained us down.

Thank you Lord - I can never repay what you've done more than 2 millennia ago...

It was for freedom that Christ set us free - Galatians 5:1... My favourite desktop wallpaper.. ^_^

Updates

My creativity is running dry at this point, hence, the simple and plain title "Updates"... Not much to say except severe procrastination which is exemplified by taking all sorts of photos like the ones below:

That's the design in front of this year's MedSoc T-shirt - rather cute, I think - see if you can get it... Bought it earlier this week at the MedSoc Council meeting - my first meeting this year as International Students' Representative! UNSW Medicine international students, if you wanna get involved, drop me a line at international@medsoc.org.au !

That's the first ever photo of Dian and I together (taken before TKC's commencement dinner). Dian's my "alcove daughter" this year at Basser - she's a first year med student (ah, a gal after my own heart, lol). She's Indonesian but has lived in Singapore almost all her life. We seem to connect really well and I heart this junior of mine... Dian, if you're reading this, don't forget the pact we made about shopping after exams! =)

Ok, I'm not going to bother posting anymore photos. Just a quick note to some of our SPM/STPM leavers: congrats to those who excelled, and to those who didn't (or think they didn't), don't get too upset - the world hasn't ended. All the best for your scholarship/university applications and may you strive to pursue that dream career of yours! Don't ever give up! ^_^
